WOLFTÖNE (pronounced like Vulf Turner) is German for "wolf tones", which are artificially enhanced, sometimes beating resonances in the body of an instrument. Accordingly a lot of the synthesis techniques and materials of this project are resonance phenomena and beatings caused by interferences.
