WOLFTÖNE (pronounced like Vulf Turner) is German for "wolf tones", which are artificially enhanced, sometimes beating resonances in the body of an instrument. Accordingly a lot of the synthesis techniques and materials of this project are resonance phenomena and beatings caused by interferences. Minimal at the pitch level (1 or 2 main notes), these extended works are maximal at the textural level.
